Books are an important part of everyday life, and we love that. But we wanted to do more. We wanted to help make it possible for our patrons to experience some of the places and ideas they discover between the pages of a book.
That’s why we are proud to introduce Discovery Passes.
Discovery Passes are free passes to museums, zoos, and other destinations around Ohio that we think you will enjoy visiting.
Destinations include:
Akron Children's Museum
Akron Zoo
Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve
Canton Museum of Art
Dennison Railroad Depot Museum
McKinley Presidential Library & Museum
The National First Ladies Library & Museum
Ohio State Reformatory
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens
Loan rules for Discovery Passes are as follows:
Adult cards only
One Discovery Pass may be checked out per card
Passes are valid for one week beginning on the checkout date
No holds
No renewals
$3 per day late fee
Lost passes will incur an $80 replacement fee
