Friends of the Library Store Opens March 8!
The Friends of Louisville Public Library will open a small shop at the library beginning March 8, 2008. The shop, located near the front entrance, will feature books, treats and gift items.
Artprint Auction Catalog Online
Submitted by Webmaster on Tue, 08/28/2007 - 12:56pm.On Saturday September 15, 2007 starting at 3:00 p.m., Louisville Public Library will hold an auction featuring furniture, statues and artprints from the library's rotating collection. A PDF catalog of the art to be auctioned by George Kiko of Kiko's Auctions is now available online.

Eagles Foundation Gift Makes Change Happen

Friends of the Library Offer Challenge to the Community
Submitted by Webmaster on Wed, 01/17/2007 - 1:50pm.In response to the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Louisville Public Library to make the library a more user-friendly “destination place” for patrons of all ages, the Friends of the Library group has made a generous pledge of $2,000 to help finance its intended re-design of the public areas of the library.
Adopt a Magazine @ the Library
The library is looking for interested donors to help keep the magazine collection current and complete.
Gulf Coast Book Collection
Submitted by Webmaster on Thu, 06/22/2006 - 12:09pm.Jay Barton, of the Louisville Rotary Club, has announced that the Louisville chapter, along with other Rotary Clubs, will be collecting gently-used hardcover books to help restock libraries damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Louisville Public Library will serve as a collection point.
Mammoth Used Book Sale!

Kress Family Memorial Gift
