Reference

The Reference Department of the Louisville Public Library exists to help patrons meet their information needs. To meet this goal, librarians:

• Answer reference questions, using both print and electronic resources.
• Assist patrons with using the Internet.
• Assist patrons with using software applications.
• Assist patrons using the library catalog to identify and then locate library materials.
• Assist patrons in borrowing materials from other libraries located within the state of Ohio and also outside of the state of Ohio.
• Assist patrons who need to register to vote by making voter registration materials available.
• Assist patrons who need tax forms, FAFSA forms, and HEAP forms.

The department is staffed during all hours of library operation. Please feel free to call the Reference Department (330-875-1696, ask for Reference) or stop at the Reference Desk to see if a librarian can assist you in any way.
