Abigail Adams and Martha Washington (Ann Pilarczyk and Marti Livingstone) dropped by for a cup of tea and a chance to relate stories of their lives as Founding Mothers. The program was the lead-off for the Constitution Week program Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts, part of the Thursday Evening Book Club discussion group.

On April 3, 2008, Carol Starre-Kmiecik transformed into the unsinkable Molly Brown with a one-woman show, where she explained to a large audience about the real Molly Brown and how she became the most popular survivor of the Titanic.

Members of the Teen Manga Club created a Japanese atmosphere for the Thursday Night Book Club's discussion of Nisei Daughter by Monica Sone. The discussion was part of the 2008 One Community, One Book program and was led by Marti Livingstone.
