Wedding Music Collections T-Z
There is Love (The Wedding Song). Volcano, p1992 : 61422-32018-2
This is a great collection just because it contains traditional songs performed by non-traditional artists. For instance, Petula Clark does the Wedding Song. How about Harry Nilsson doing Irving Berlin's Always. What a great first dance! This one's for the true romantics.
Processional march: Wedding march from Lohengrin; Processional march: Canon in D major; Ave Maria; Ich har dich tzufil Lieb (I love you much too much); Recessional: Wedding march from A midsummer night's dream; You light up my life (Debby Boone); True love's wings (Buddy Holly); If (Bread); Can't help falling in love with you (Corey Hart); Always (Harry Nilsson); Wedding song (There is love) (Petula Clark); Til the end of time (Perry Como); Love is here to stay (Rosemary Clooney).
22 Instrumental Preludes, Processionals and Recessionals. Word, p1996 : 4076-4
This disc, from the "Music for Your Wedding" series, pretty much covers all the classical "biggies," but also includes several popular titles which are harder to find in instrumental versions. Also includes the much sought after wedding processional from The Sound of Music.
Air from Water music (Handel); Arioso (J.S. Bach); Ave Maria (Schubert); Bridal chorus (Wagner); Canon in D (Pachelbel); Hornpipe from Water music (Handel); Jesu, joy of man's desiring (J.S. Bach); Largo from Xerxes (Handel); Ode to joy (Beethoven); Panis angelicus (Franck); Processional from Royal fireworks (Handel); Psalm XIX (Marcello); Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini (Rachmaninoff); Somewhere in time (Barry); Tara's theme; Through the eyes of love (Theme from Ice castles); Toccata (Widor); Trumpet air (Purcell); Trumpet voluntary (Clarke); We are one in the bond of love; Wedding march (Mendelssohn); Wedding processional from The sound of music.
Two Become One: A Worshipful Wedding. Integrity Music, p1999 : 14552
If you are looking for a less traditional, but still religious service, you might want to consider this disc. It contains eight different contemporary Christian songs such as Give Me Forever, I Do by John Tesh and James Ingram. What is really nice about this disc is that it also gives split tracks for the eight songs with either vocal or instrumental available in case a vocalist wants to use only the music.
One love; Savior like a shepherd; Join our hearts; We are an offering; Awesome in this place; Give me forever, I do; We celebrate your love; Father, we commit to you.
The ultimate wedding album: your complete vocal and instrumental music guide. London, p1997 : 448 004-2

Wedding Album, Sony, p1998 : CK 69359
Modern Bride Magazine presented this interesting collection of wedding music combining the traditional processional and recessional with lots of current love songs, featuring rock and rhythm and blues artists. This one would also be nice to have at the reception.

The Wedding Album: Songs that Say "I Love You." CEMA, 1992 : CDL-19111-2
This is an interesting collection. It's a mixture of country, soul and popular songs, most of which would be great for a reception, if not for the actual ceremony. I'm not sure anyone would really want Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You" played at their wedding, but I may be wrong.
Here and now (Luther Vandross); Tonight I celebrate my love (Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack); You are my lady (Freddie Jackson); Lovin; you (Minnie Riperton); Solid (as a rock) (Ashford & Simpson); What a wonderful world (Louis Armstrong); Always and forever (Heatwave); Suddenly (Billy Ocean); The best of love (Mona Lisa); Dance of love (Dan Hill); Could I have this dance (Anne Murray); Crazy (Patsy Cline).
The Wedding Album, vol. 2, Capitol Records, p1997 : QALCD-6759
Here's an interesting collection of soft rock love songs by original artists. This would probably be a good choice to take along for the reception to sneak in a few slow dances.

Wedding Classics. Chandos, p2003 : CHAN 241-11
Another Chinese menu of classical wedding music, this two-disc set has the usual suggestions for each part of the ceremony and a few new ones includes Vaughan Williams "Come down O love divine," and Elgar's Chanson de matin. The album notes are also marked with an asterisk if the selection has a religious theme which might not be appropriate for a civil wedding. The collection is pretty impressive in its variety.

Wedding Day Music, Warner Bros. Records, p1998 : 9 46603-2

Wedding Music and Words, SPJ Music, p1998 : SPJ 93000
This disc is a little different in that it has both music and readings. Both are standard, classical fare, but rather well done, using both vocal and instrumental soloists as well as organ and small musical groups. The readings consist of Old and New Testament verses, Shakespearean sonnets and excerpts from "The Prophet." In all, not a bad collection.

With This Ring: Ceremony Music. Music for Two, Inc., p2001 : BC070108

Bach; Ave Maria / Schubert; Wedding chorus from Lohengrin / Wagner; Wedding march / Mendelssohn; Rondeau / Mouret; Alla hornpipe from Water music suite in D / Handel; Allegro from Concerto for two oboes / Albinoni; Trumpet overture from Indian queen / Purcell.
