A Time for Giving @ the Library

The Louisville Public Library is once again supporting the Alliance for Children and Families organization. Starting Thanksgiving week, we will have the Giving Tree and a donation box to collect personal hygiene products for the families shelter.

The Giving Tree

The Christmas tree as you walk into the library will be decorated with colorful tags that patrons can choose from, buy a gift and return to the library. Gifts purchased for the Giving Tree tags will be distributed to Help Me Grow Families (within Stark County) in need of assistance during this holiday season.

Here's how it works:

• Pick a tag off the tree.
• Purchase the gift or gifts requested.
• Please DO NOT WRAP the items.
• Attache the request card to the shopping bag to be sure the gift is given to the right person.
• If you can only afford one item on the tag, please purchase the first item. These are the items needed most.
• Return the gift to the library by DECEMBER 15.

Donation Box

There will be a collection box in the lobby of the library in which new, personal hygiene products can be placed. These items will go directly to the Alliance for Children and Families Shelter.
