Possession of Weapons

The Ohio General Assembly has enacted legislation that includes an exemption for public libraries as a permissible location for concealed weapons.

The Louisville Public Library does not permit weapons of any kind, either concealed or in plain view, on its property or in its building, unless the owner of the weapons is a law enforcement officer.

The library has posted the necessary notification of its status as exempt from Ohio's Concealed Carry legislation, as required by the Ohio Revised Code.
